Tales and Trails at the Story Center

Stretch your legs, listen to a story, and step into history. Take a stroll around the new half-mile Woodneath trail while a storyteller (Priscilla is one of the tellers at this event) takes you on a journey from then to now with a tour of the historic Crouch home—the future location of The Story Center. This walking event is offered in partnership with The National Storytelling Network. 

This Must Be the Place: Monologues about Home

What do Lawrence storytelling residents (including Priscilla) have to say about the subject of home? Is it a physical place or a sense of wonder? Restless yearnings or fond memories? This new, mixed media monologue show will debut the humor and pathos of local tales about homes, complimented by song, dance, and visual imagery. Suggested donation $5, adults and older kids only.
